LESTREGUS NOSFERATUS (USA/IN)

LESTREGUS NOSFERATUS was an Atlanta, Georgia Death Metal project that would host a multitude of well known faces. The group's fluid roster would include vocalists Mykill and, for one concert, HALLOWS EVE frontman Steve Cannon, guitarists Ron Vento, Doug Edmunds and another HALLOWS EVE man Dwayne Monk, bassists Rich Manning and HALLOWS EVE's Jim Gorman plus drums courtesy of SABOTAGE veteran Bill, ex-APOCALYPTIC VISIONS man Shru and Rich Fuscia, of INCUBUS and USURPER. A later group of players included HALLOWS EVE and DRYWATER drummer Dane Jensen, vocalist / guitarist Steve Shoemaker (a.k.a. 'Skullator' or 'Skully'), of INCUBUS and HALLOWS EVE, bassist Tommy Stewart, of WARRIOR and HALLOWS EVE, guitarists Dan Daniels, David Torrence and Evan Bartleson plus Scott Waldrop, of TWISTED TOWER DIRE, on bass. LESTREGUS NOSFERATUS first demoed with an eponymous session in 1988. Follow up demos included 'In The Realms Of Evil Thrive in 1992, 'Blood Feast Of The Damned' in 1994 and 'Oh Come All Ye Faithful... Tonight We Feast' in 1995. This final sent was recorded by a line-up of Ron Vento, Steve Shoemaker, Rich Manning and Shru. Ron Vento subsequently formed AURORA BOREALIS. Tommy Stewart found nationwide recognition with GODSMACK. LESTREGUS NOSFERATUS never released a full length album or even an EP. Only four demos were released from 1988 to 1995.
